6 Priming
Place your finger
over the venturi
to choke intake.
Turn the propeller
two revolutions
while watching
the fuel line.
Turn the engine for 3
to 4 seconds by an
electric starter without
connecting glowplug
battery.
7 Hold model securely when starting
Fuel Tube
Fuel inlet
Fuel will flow
from tank to
venturi as
propeller is
turned.
8 Heat glowplug
Connect battery leads as shown
(polarity is immaterial.)

Glowplug battery.
Place as far to the
rear as possible.
Starter
Be careful not
to be hit by propeller!
Assistant should hold
the model so that it
cannot move forward
when the engine starts.
