If you have made your books visible, you can still hide individual books. Tap the Show/Hide toggle beside any
book title you wish to hide.
If the toggle switch says Show, your friends can see the book in a list of lendable books.
If the toggle switch says Hide, this book does not appear in the list of your lendable books.
Lending and Borrowing Books
LendMe functionality is consolidated online at MyNOOK.com. Visit MyNOOK.com to lend and borrow eligible
NOOK Books, as well as accept LendMe offers from friends. You can read and enjoy LendMe-eligible NOOK Books
on your NOOK devices and through the NOOK Reading apps registered to your NOOK account. For more infor-
mation, please visit MyNOOK.com.
To view a list of lendable books belonging to a specific NOOK Friend, do this:
1.
In the NOOK Friends app, tap the Friends button (an icon with three people) in the lower right corner of the
screen to display a list of your NOOK Friends.
2.
Tap the LendMe button next to the name of the friend whose lendable books you want to see.
A window opens listing any lendable books that belong to that friend.
Viewing a List of Pending Offers from your NOOK Friends
To view a list of books that your NOOK Friends have offered to lend you, do this:
1.
Tap the LendMe button in the NOOK Friends app.
2.
Scroll down the LendMe screen of bookshelves to the Offers shelf.
If the shelf is empty, none of your friends has offered to lend you books.
If a book appears on the shelf, a friend has offered to lend you the book. Tap on the book cover to read
the details of the offer. You can accept or decline the offer on MyNOOK.com.
Viewing a List of Pending Requests from NOOK Friends
To view a list of books that friends would like to borrow from you, do this:
1.
Tap the LendMe button in the NOOK Friends app.
2.
Scroll down the LendMe screen of bookshelves to the Requests shelf.
If the shelf is empty, none of your friends has requested to borrow a book from you.
If a book appears on the shelf, a friend has requested to borrow that book from you. Tap on the book
cover to read the details of the request. You can accept or decline the request on MyNOOK.com.
If you lend a book, it appears on the Lent to others shelf in the LendMe section of the Library until the loan is over.
Identifying Books You Have Borrowed
If you have borrowed a book, its appears on the shelf of borrowed books in the LendMe section of your Library. A
colored bar on the book's cover tells you how many days remain for you to read the book.
If you have finished borrowing a book, the book's cover appears faded. If you would like to purchase the book you
borrowed, simply tap on the book's cover and purchase it just as you would any other book. If you would like to
delete it, press and hold on its cover and select Delete in the pop-up menu.
