Your NOOK is an eReader with a full-color touchscreen. On your NOOK, you can:
Read books, magazines, newspapers, catalogs, comics, and graphic novels.
Shop over three million titles, including over one million free titles, from Barnes & Noble. Buy books, single issues
of magazines and newspapers, as well as subscriptions to magazines and newspapers.
Discover new books through NOOK Channels, the easiest and best way to find what you love. One hundred
years of bookseller knowledge go into our handpicked collections of books, magazines, and apps that speak to
your interests. There are over 300 channels—and counting—so find your favorites and follow them for inspira-
tion.
Buy or rent and then download or stream popular movies and TV shows from Disney, Sony, HBO and more.

NOOK Apps and Google Play Apps
Your NOOK supports both NOOK apps and Google Play apps. NOOK apps are apps developed for your NOOK
and tested and approved by Barnes & Noble. In the NOOK Store
a small green NOOK logo in the upper right corner.
Android apps are available on Google Play.
NOTE: Some apps are available both as NOOK apps and as Google Play apps. If you have already purchased an
app from the NOOK Store, you do not need to purchase an additional app on Google Play.
NOTE: Content for Google Play apps is available only within the apps themselves. For example, Google Play
Books do not appear in your NOOK Library
Books app.
NOTE: To purchase and access Google Play content, you need to have a Google account. You can set up a
Google account either on accounts.google.com or within a Google Play app. Google accounts are free.
To purchase Google Play content, you will need to set up a credit card for a Google Wallet™ account.
Launch the Play Store app for instructions for entering credit card information for a Google Wallet ac-
count.
