Expansion Module (Hub Unit)
You can connect the optional Expansion Module (Hub
Unit) (CY-EM100U).
Connection of the Expansion Module allows you to
simultaneously connect optional devices mentioned
before as well as other AV devices.
For details, refer to the operating instructions for the
Expansion Module.

• Depending on the area in which the unit is used, it
may not be possible to receive broadcasts from XM
Satellite Radio or Sirius Satellite Radio.

USB Connector

The USB Connector is equipped on the front panel.

By connecting a USB memory (not included) to USB
connector via a USB extension cable (USB 2.0, not
included), you can enjoy MP3/WMA/AAC fi les stored on
the USB memory (not included) in your car.
By connecting iPod series to USB connector via a USB
extension cable for iPod (USB 2.0, not included), you can
enjoy music fi les stored on the iPod series in your car.
Controllable iPod/software version
• 5th generation iPod/ver. 1.2.1 (Video playback is not
supported.)
• 1st generation iPod nano/ver. 1.3.1
• 2nd generation iPod nano/ver. 1.1.3
Operation check has been completed with software

CA-DC300U) allows you to connect the optional iPod

The iPod equipped with a dock connector is exclusively
connectable. Further information about the controllable
iPod is described below.

The optional adaptor (Conversion Cable for DVD/CD
Changer: CA-CC30U) allows you to connect the optional
Panasonic CD changer unit (CX-DP880U). ( page 12)

CD changer unit.
Note: This unit does not support a DVD changer
due to shortage of displayable digit number or other
causes.
XM Satellite Radio
• You can connect the optional XM receiver (XMD1000*)
with optional Digital Adaptor Cable (XMDPAN110*).
• You can connect the optional XM Direct 2 (CNP2000UC*)
with optional Connection Cable (CNPPAN1*).
* These products are made by other media companies.

Note: The optional Sirius Satellite Radio receiver
SIR-PAN1/the optional Interface Adaptor CA-PANSC1U
cannot be used with this unit.
Sirius Satellite Broadcast service
Sirius Satellite coverage is only available in the United
States (except Hawaii and Alaska) and a part of Canada.
The instruction of Satellite Operation Controls in the
Operating Instructions and Guide will not be applied.
Bluetooth ®
Using the optional Bluetooth ® Unit (CY-BT200U) and
a Bluetooth ® device enables hands-free telephony and
Bluetooth ® Audio listening with this unit. ( page 22)
For details, refer to the operating instructions for the
Bluetooth device.
Note: This unit does not support CY-BT100U.
