Discharge Direction Adjustment

S Snow may be discharged to the left, straight forward, or to the
right.
S To change the direction proceed as follows:
S Pull control rod, to unlock control rod from present setting.
Figure 9.
S Rotate control rod to the left, right or straight ahead depending
on desired direction.
S Release control rod at desired setting, control rod will lock in
full left, center and full right positions.

Clearing Obstructed Impeller or Discharge Chute

WARNING: Remove key, and disconnect power
prior to performing any service or repairs to the
Snowthrower.
S Use a wooden stick to clear impeller and/or discharge chute.
S Rotate impeller by hand a few turns, to make sure impeller
spins freely.
CAUTION: Failure of impeller to spin freely may result in
motor damage.
CAUTION: Operation of snow mover in hand-held position is
unsafe, except in accordance with special instructions for
such use provided in operator's manual.
