Manual Tune Setup
Set the DSR-6402 Install Menu options as follows:
1.
With the Main Menu displayed, use the key to advance the cursor to Install, then press Enter. The
Manual Tune menu should display; if not, use the up and down keys to scroll through the Install
options until the Manual Tune menu appears.
2. Advance the cursor to Input, then press Enter. The cursor
moves to the lower line and begins blinking. Use the or
keys until the desired port (Port 1) is displayed, then press
Enter. The confirmation screen appears as shown below.
3. With the Confirmation Screen displayed, press Enter. The
Manual Tune Menu appears with the cursor on the top line
display.
Note: If, instead of pressing Enter as described in Step 3, you press any of the arrow keys
( ), the Confirmation Screen disappears and the Manual Tune menu reappears
without changes.
4. Advance the cursor to Mode, then press Enter. The cursor moves to the lower line and begins blinking.
Use the or keys until the Xpndr Mode is displayed, then press Enter. The cursor returns to the top
line of the display.
5. Advance the cursor to Xpndr, then press Enter. The cursor moves to the lower line and begins blinking.
Press or to select Transponder 14, then press Enter. The cursor returns to the top line of the display.
Note that the correct frequency (1170.00 for Transponder 14) is displayed in the LFreq field.
6. Press to move the cursor to the menu home position, then press Enter. The Main Menu displays.
Modulation Setup
Set the DSR-6402 Modulation Menu options as follows:
1.
With the Install Menu displayed, use the up and down
keys to scroll through the Install options until the Modulation
menu appears.
2. Advance the cursor to Mode, then press Enter. The cursor moves to the lower line and begins blinking.
Use the or keys until the DVBS2 Modulation Mode is displayed, then press Enter. The cursor returns
to the top line of the display.
3. Advance the cursor to Symbol, then press Enter. The cursor moves to the lower line and begins blinking.
Use the or keys to adjust the Symbol Rate to 30.000000, then press Enter. The cursor returns to the
top line of the display.
4. On the DSR-6402 front panel, observe that the Signal LED is lit.
5. Use the key to move the cursor to the home position for this menu, then press
Enter. The Main Menu displays.
Channel Menu Setup
Set the DSR-6402 Channel Menu options as follows:
1.
With the Main Menu displayed, use the key to advance the cursor to Channel, then press Enter. The
Channel menu should display; if not, use the up and down
keys to scroll through the Install options until the Channel
menu appears.
