1-5. LCD SYSTEM ADJUSTMENT
Before perform the LCD system adjustments, check that the specified
values of "VIDEO SYSTEM ADJUSTMENT" are satisfied.
Note 1: The back light (fluorescent tube) is driven by a high voltage AC
power supply. Therefore, do not touch the back light holder to
avoid electrical shock.
Note 2: When replacing the LCD unit, be careful to prevent damages
caused by static electricity.
Note 3: Set the LCD BRIGHT (Menu) to the center.
[Adjusting connector]
Most of the measuring points for adjusting the LCD system are
concentrated in CN803 of FC-72 board.
Connect the Measuring Instruments via the CPC-12 jig (J-6082-
436-A).
The following table shows the Pin No. and signal name of CN803
of FC-72 board.

By measuring the resistor value between Pin qd of CN803 and Pin
4 of CN803, the type of LCD can be discriminated.
