The server already has a SCSI host bus
adapter but it is difficult to determine what
type it is.
The server may not have a SCSI host bus
adapter installed.

Use HP Library & Tape Tools (see page 35) to provide
information on your current SCSI settings.
The HP StorageWorks DAT drive has its SCSI ID set to
3 by default. This should be left unchanged unless this
number is already in use. Full instructions on how to
change the SCSI ID are given on page 11.

ribbon cable already inside your server then both the
host bus adapter and the end of the ribbon cable will
already be terminated and no further action is
required.
