power?

Possible cause
The power cord may not be
securely connected to the
machine.
The power cord may not be
supplying power.
The machine may not be
receiving power.
Solution
Make sure the power cord is
connected securely to the
machine and to a wall
outlet.
If the power cord is
connected to a power strip,
make sure the strip is
connected to an outlet and
turned on.
Check the power cord by
substituting it with another,
or by using a voltmeter to
test it for continuity.
Check the plug and be sure
it is firmly connected to the
power connector and the
wall outlet.
If the display remains blank,
disconnecting the power
cord, wait five seconds, then
reconnect it. If the display
still remains blank, contact
your local authorized Canon
Facsimile Dealer.
