If any ink remains in the ink bottle after filling the ink tank up to the
upper line, install the cap securely and store the ink bottle upright
for later use.

If you see missing segments or broken lines in your printouts, try
the following solutions.

Print a nozzle check pattern by turning on the product while pressing b. If you
notice any missing segments or broken lines as shown in (b), go to step B.

Run the print head cleaning by pressing H for 3 seconds until the P light is
flashing.

The cleaning uses some ink from all tanks, so run the cleaning only
if quality declines on your prints.

If the product stops working and the lights are on or flashing, use the following table to diagnose and solve the problem.

No paper is loaded, or multiple sheets were fed at the same time. Load paper in the rear paper feed correctly and press b.

The paper has jammed in the product. Follow steps A to D in "Clearing Paper Jam" section to remove paper and resume printing.
Or for L1300, when you start printing, the printer cover is open. Close the printer cover. You can cancel your print job by pressing +.
