1.
Launch your web browser (e.g., Microsoft Internet Explorer

Some functions are restricted if Mozilla Firefox is used. (Restrictions include Client settings not being
available, reduced number of available Home buttons, and delays in displaying images.)

Enter the IP address of the KX-NTV150/KX-NTV160 in the address field. Press Enter.
3.
Login with the user name and password.
Default user name: admin
Default password: adminpass
4.
The live video will be displayed in your web browser.

If it is the first time installing the KX-NTV150/KX-NTV160, an information bar asking you to install plug-in
software will be displayed. In order to view images and videos, this plug-in software must be installed.
Follow the instructions to install the required plug-in on your computer.

•
For Mozilla Firefox users, your browser will use QuickTime
QuickTime on your computer, please download it first, and then launch the web browser.
We suggest to set all plugin functions with Internet Explorer, such as Motion detection, Privacy mask.
•
QuickTime plugin operations may be affected by firewalls causing videos not to be played. If this
happens, please contact your network administrator.
•
To prevent unauthorized access, it is highly recommended to change the password for the
KX-NTV150/KX-NTV160.
For more information about how to enable password protection, please refer to Security on
page 92.
•
If you see a dialog box indicating that your security settings prohibit running ActiveX
enable the ActiveX Controls for your browser.
