Connecting MD deck/VCR

You can connect your MD deck or VCR to this
system. Be sure to match the color of the plugs
and the connectors.

Make a digital Connect the optical cable.
recording from
CD to MD
Make an analog Connect the AUDIO OUT
recording from CD,
jacks to the audio input of the
TAPE or TUNER
MD deck.
Record the audio and Connect the AUDIO OUT
video signals from
jacks to the audio input of
VIDEO CD on to
VCR. Connect the VIDEO
VIDEO TAPE
OUT jack to the video input
of the VCR.
Listen to the
Press MD (VIDEO).

Listen to the
Hold down MD (VIDEO) and
connected VCR press ?/1 when the power is
on. This switches the "MD"
function to "VIDEO". Once
you enable the "VIDEO"
function, just press MD
(VIDEO).

Tip
When you remove the optical cover, keep it at the
optical cover holder provided.
Note
If the sound is distorted or too loud when selecting
"VIDEO", or you want to switch back to "MD",
repeat the operation described above to switch to
"MD".
