Refer to the following illustrations to install an additional power supply.
Note: The illustrations in this document might differ slightly from your hardware.

To install a power supply:
1. Remove the filler panel.
Note: During normal operation, each power-supply bay must have either a
power supply or filler panel installed for proper cooling.
2. Place the power supply handle in the open position.
3. Slide the power supply into the chassis and press the handle to the closed
position.
4. Plug the power cord into the power cord connector on the rear of the server; and
then, into a properly grounded electrical outlet.
5. Verify that the DC power light and AC power light on the power supply are lit,
indicating that the power supply is operating correctly.
