    Major components Major components of the Netfinity 4500R server M a j o r c o m p o n e n t s The orange color on components and labels in your server identifies hot-swap or hot- plug components. This means that you can install or remove the components while the system is running, provided that your system is configured to support this function.

Working inside a server with power on Your server supports hot-swap drives, fans, and power supplies and is designed to operate safely while turned on with the cover removed.

    Your server supports three 1-inch (26 mm) slim-high hot-swap hard disk drives in the hot-swap bays. Use these CDs during the initial installation of your server to configure basic hardware features and to simplify your network operating system installation.

    1.The warranties provided by IBM in this Statement of Limited Warranty apply only to Machines you purchase for your use, and not for resale, from IBM or your reseller. The term "Machine" means an IBM machine, its features, conversions, upgrades, elements, or accessories, or any combination of them.
