Basic Configuration
Option #2, Personal Identification Number (PIN)
Use this method if your client device has a WPS PIN number.

- Press the WPS button on the back of the CPEi 890.
- Press the WPS button on the client device.
- The connection will be automatically established.
•
Software button PBC on the CPEi 890
- Navigate to the Security page of the Wi-Fi section of the CPEi 890 GUI as
detailed above.
- Select "PBC" at the WPS Method dialog box and select "Apply".
- Press the WPS button on the client device.
- The connection will be automatically established.

Initiate the WPS PIN procedure on the client device per the manufacturer's
instructions.
•
Navigate to the Security page of the Wi-Fi section of the CPEi 890 GUI as detailed
above.
•
Make sure the "PIN" option is selected in the WPS Method dialog box in the Wi-Fi
Security Screen.
•
Enter the PIN number of the client device in the field on this screen.
•
Click "Apply" on the CPEi 890 GUI screen. This must be completed within 2
minutes of starting the procedure on the client device.
•
The connection will be automatically established.
