andallowsamediarollwithadiameterof152mm(6inches).Italsohas
aslotforexternalmediasupply.The8-inchMegatophasahingedtrans-
parentcanopythatenclosesamediarollwithadiameterofupto213
mm(8.38inches).Thestandardlongsidedoorisgenerallyillustrated
throughoutthismanual.

Paper Cutter

Thepapercutterisafactory-orfield-installableoptiondesignedtocut
offcontinuouspaper-basedstockorlinerbetweenlabels.Thecut-off
labels,tickets,ortagscanbecollectedonanoptionaltray.Thepaper
cuttercanbecontrolledusingtheinstructionsCUT,CUTON,and
CUTOFFinIntermecFingerprintandtheIntermecDirectProtocol.

Integral Liner Takeup Unit

Theintegrallinertakeupunitisanoptionaldeviceforpeel-off(self-st
rip)
operation,whichmeansthelabelsareseparatedfromaliner(back-

Theunitalsoincludesaguideshaft.Peel-offcannotbecombinedwith
Quick-Loadguides,seebelow.

Media Supply Hub

Therotatingmediasupplyhubisdesignedtofitmediarollcoreswith
aninternaldiameterof38-40mm(1.5inch).Thehubcanbefittedin
thesamepositionsasthesupplyrollpost,seeChapter2.Beingfactory
installed,thepositionofthemediasupplyhubisnotintendedtobe
changedbytheoperator.

3-inch Adapter

The3-inch/76mmadapterisusedwitharotatingmediasupplyhuband
makesitpossibletousemediarollswith3inch/76mminnerdiameter
cores.Theadapterispressedontothehubandsecuredbyascrew.Not
usedwithamediasupplyrollpost.
