Identifying Battery Packs

This notebook supports up to 2 battery packs:
■
The primary battery pack is a 6-cell lithium-ion battery pack
that can be used only in the battery bay. One primary battery
pack is included with the notebook.
■
The optional travel battery pack is an 8-cell lithium-ion
battery pack that can be attached to the bottom of the
notebook.
If the notebook will be unused and disconnected from external
power for more than 2 weeks, remove the battery pack and store it
as described in the
chapter to prolong the battery pack life. For more information
about leaving your work, refer to the
Hibernation or Shutdown"

Only AC adapters and battery packs compatible with your
HP notebook should be used with the notebook. For additional
