4. Select the circle that most closely
matches the color of bar A, and follow the
instructions to the right of it to change the
color density (see below). If bar A
matches the bottom circle, then the color
is properly balanced, and no adjustment
is necessary.
To set color density:
5. After the test page prints, the display
reads CYAN DARKNESS 0. If you need
to change the cyan setting use the
key to cycle through the settings,
which range from +2 to -2.
6. Press Enter to register the change, then
press Menu 2 to move on to MAGENTA
DARKNESS.
7.Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you have
cycled through all four toner colors.
PRINT EXECUTE displays.
8.Press Enter to print another test page. The
display reads EXIT when printing finishes.
9.Check your results again.
• If bar A matches the bottom circle, then
color balance is correct. Press Online to
exit the menu.
• If bar A does not match the bottom
circle, press Menu 2 to return to the
CYAN DARKNESS display, and repeat
the process from step 4 until the color
or
balance is correct.
