About the warming zone
Use the warming zone -Fig. 1- to keep hot cooked
foods warm such as; vegetables, gravies,
casseroles, soups, stews, breads, pastries and
oven-safe dinner plates. DO NOT heat cold food
using the warming zone.
Use only plates, cookware and utensils
recommended for oven and ceramic cooktop use.
Do not use plastic wrap or aluminum foil to
cover foods. Plastic or aluminum foil may melt onto
the ceramic cooktop.
The warming zone will not glow red when it
becomes hot, but becomes hot enough to
cause burns. Avoid placing hands on or near the
warming zone until the warming zone Hot
Surface indicator light is OFF. Always use
potholders or oven mitts when removing food
from the warming zone as cookware and plates
will be hot.
