    Getting started About this User guide This is the Xperia™ T2 Ultra dual User guide for the Android™ 5.0 software version. If you're not sure which software version your device is running, you can check it via the Settings menu. For more information about software updates, see Updating your device on page 117.

  • Page 8 Insert a fingernail into the gap between the micro SIM card slots cover and the device, then detach the cover. Using a fingernail, pull out the two micro SIM card holders. Place the micro SIM card on each holder, with the gold-coloured contacts on the micro SIM card facing up.

    The first time you start your device, a setup guide opens to help you configure basic settings, sign in to online accounts and personalise your device. For example, if you have a Sony Entertainment Network account, you can sign in to it here and get set up straight away.

    To add Internet and MMS settings manually From your Home screen, tap Find and tap Settings > More > Mobile networks. Select a SIM card. Tap Access Point Names > Tap Name and enter a name as desired. Tap APN and enter the access point name. Enter all other information as required.

    FM radio Listening to the radio The FM radio in your device works like any FM radio. For example, you can browse and listen to FM radio stations and save them as favourites. You must connect a wired headset or headphones to your device before you can use the radio. This is because the headset or headphones act as an antenna.

You can also select which face to focus on by tapping it on the screen. When you tap the camera screen, a blue frame shows which face is selected and in focus.

    Landscape Use for landscape photos. The camera focuses on distant objects. Backlight correction HDR Use to improve details in high contrast shots. The built-in backlight correction analyses the image and automatically adjusts it to give you a perfectly lit shot. Night portrait Use for portrait photos taken at night or in poorly lit environments.

The recording time of this video format is limited so that video files can fit in a multimedia message. These settings are only available in Manual capturing mode. Self-timer With the self-timer, you can record a video without holding the device.
