Phone and Web Search Using Text Entry

You can search on your phone and on the web by entering text.
1. From the Home screen, tap the Search Widget
widget, see Add and Remove Widgets on the Home
2. Enter the text you're searching for in the search field

You can use the Search preferences to configure some aspects of Google web
search (for example, whether it makes suggestions below the search field as you
type), and what phone features you want to include in searches.
