Installing Drivers for Windows 95
There are two major versions of Windows 95. The following steps describe
the OEM (B) version most widely used. Installation steps for the retail
version of Windows 95 are included at the end of this section as well.
Once the system is turned on, the following steps should be performed to
install the driver software for the modem:
1. Once the modem has been physically installed in the system, Windows
95 should come up with the New Hardware Found screen. Otherwise
refer to the Troubleshooting section.
2. Select the Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer if
prompted and direct the Copy files from: box to the location of the
drivers (A: if the installation diskette is in your A-drive ).
