Problem
Not sure if the Light/
Proximity sensor is
properly working.
The sensor only activates when you make a call or
receive a call. Normally, the function is off.
To test whether it works normally, do the following:
1. Place the device on the desk and make a call.
2. Use your hand to cover the top of the sensor. The
screen will turn off and enter the power-saving
mode.
3. Then remove your hand away. The screen will turn
on to display the phone screen.
4. Repeat step 2 and 3 for at least 5 times. If the
sensor is broken or defective, the screen either
stays on or off. If this happens, try to solve this
problem by using the force-shutdown method or you
can send your phone to the service center.
Note: Remove the factory protective film before you
start using the phone. If you plan to replace a new
protective film on the display screen to avoid scratch,
please make sure the light/proximity sensor works
properly.
