Effects List

Effects That Can Be Selected Directly With the Effects Buttons
DSP EFFECTS
FILTER + DRIVE
Low-pass filter with overdrive.
Cuts the high frequencies and
adds distortion.
PITCH
Modifies the pitch.
DELAY
Repeats the sound.
VINYL SIM
Gives the sound the sonic quali-
ties of an analog record.
ISOLATOR
Extracts and deletes sounds in the
low-, mid-, or high-frequency range.

Time (Delay Time) is based on the tempo for the longest of the samples to which the effect is applied; the setting is made in
note units.
The types of notes that can be set:
thirty-second note
sixteenth note
dotted sixteenth note
eighth-note triplets
eighth note
dotted eighth note
quarter-note triplets
quarter note
dotted quarter note
half-note triplets
half note
dotted half note
whole note
However, you cannot select delay time settings exceeding approximately 1450 milliseconds.
In addition, playback of a pattern is based on the pattern's tempo.

CUTOFF (CoF)
Adjusts the cutoff frequency.
PITCH (Pit)
Changes the pitch up or down
two octaves.
DELAY TIME (t32–t1)
Adjusts the time of the delayed
sound. (*1)
COMPRESSOR (CMP)
Adjusts the sense of compres-
sion in the sound that is charac-
teristic of analog records.
LOW (Lo)
Extracts/deletes sounds in the
low-frequency range.

RESONANCE (rES)
Adjusts the peak level at the cut-
off frequency.
FEEDBACK (Fdb)
Adjusts the feedback amount of
the pitch shift sound.
FEEDBACK (Fdb)
Adjust the number of times that
the delay will repeat.
NOISE LEVEL (noS)
Adjusts the volume of analog
record noise.
MID (Mid)
Extracts/deletes sounds in the
midrange.
CTRL 3 (display)
DRIVE (drV)
Adds distortion.
DIRECT/EFFECT BALANCE (dAL)
Adjusts the volume balance
between the effect sound and
the direct sound.
E.LEVEL (LEV)
Specifies the volume of the
delay.
WOW FLUTTER (FLu)
Adjusts the rotational irregulari-
ties that occur when playing an
analog record.
HIGH (Hi)
Extracts/deletes sounds in the
high-frequency range.
