• Turning the Camera On/Off and Setting the Current Date and Time

To turn on the camera, fully press the Power button until the LCD screen
is activated. The Operation LED begins blinking green. The camera is
ready for shooting when the green LED remains steady. Press the Power
button again to turn off the camera.
The camera will prompt the interface for
setting the current date and time when it is
initially powered on after your purchase, or
if the battery is removed from the camera for
more than 2 hours. Please refer to "Setting the
Current Date and Time" on page 16 for more
details.

• How to Navigate Menus

Menus are used to adjust capture and play settings, as well as other
camera settings like the date and time, and power save. Press the
button to access the main menu and press it again to exit. After
selecting a main menu option, press the right button to access the
submenu and press the left button to return to the main menu.
According to the circumstances, press the
the left and right buttons to select the on-screen REC, Playback or Setup
menu. Press the up and down buttons to scroll up and down through
menu options. Press the left and right buttons to scroll left and right.

• Low Battery

When battery power is low, a red battery icon
"Replace Battery" will show on the LCD screen. Batteries need to be
replaced or the camera will soon automatically turn off.
