the instrument panel outlets and floor
outlets.
(Floor): This mode directs most
of the air to the floor outlets and some
air to the side window outlets and
windshield.
(Defog): This mode directs air to the
windshield and floor outlets.
(Defrost): This mode directs most of
the air to the windshield and some air to
the side window outlets.
(Rear Window Defogger): Press
this button to activate the rear window

automatically after about 20 minutes.
See Section 3 of your Owner Manual.

Preventing Window Fogging

To keep the vehicle glass fog-free, turn
the airflow control knob to the
mode or the
(Defrost) mode (see
Climate Controls). Recirculation will not
function in these modes, allowing out-
side air into the vehicle to help reduce
moisture. Also keep the glass clean.
Cleaning the glass will help prevent
moisture accumulation on the glass in
humid conditions.
See Section 3 of your Owner Manual.

Passenger Compartment

Air Filter (if equipped)
The passenger compartment air filter
removes most of the common allergens
and pollutants from outside air, such as
dust and pollen, before they reach the
vehicle passenger compartment.
The filter is located under an air inlet
grill under the hood, just below the
passenger-side windshield wiper. See
your Owner Manual for scheduled main-
tenance and replacement instructions.
See Section 3 of your Owner Manual.
