Recalibration service
All blood pressure devices must be recalibrated to ensure continual
measurement accuracy
The blood pressure device should be recalibrated after 2 years of normal use
(approx. 3 measurements a day). Subsequently, the device will show "--" on the
display. The device should also be recalibrated if e.g. it has been dropped on
the floor or in fluids, if fluid has been spilled over or on the device, or if it has
been exposed to extremely high or low temperatures.
This monitor must only be calibrated by authorised personel and should
therefore be sent to HoMedics Group Ltd for re-calibration. Do not carry out any
repairs yourself. Please contact the shop where you bought the product for
further details on the procedure for submitting the monitor or contact HoMedics
customer service on +44 (0) 1732 378557 or email: cservice@homedics.co.uk.
Inserting and changing batteries
1. The battery cover is located along the right side of the monitor. Place thumb
on arrow and remove battery cover by pressing and pushing cover in the
direction of the arrow.
2. Install or exchange the batteries inside the compartment. Make sure the
batteries are placed correctly.
3. Replace the batteries if the weak battery symbol appears in the display.
Nothing appears in the display when the power is switched on.
As the supplied batteries are for test only, they may be discharged earlier than
batteries you buy in stores. Replace the batteries in pairs. Remove batteries
