Safety Protections 4. Temp. and airflow sensors The projector provides 2 temperature sensor ICs and an airflow sensor. The temperature sensor ICs monitor internal temperature and external temperature (around the intake duct ) respectively. The airflow sensor monitors intake air- flow through the airfilter to detect the airfilter clogged.
  • Page 8: Air Filter Replacement

Air Filter Replacement Air filters prevent dust from accumulating on the surface of the optical elements inside the projector. Should the air filters become clogged with dust particles, it will reduce cooling fans’ effectiveness and may result in internal heat build up and adversely affect the life of the projector.
