Operation with LD with TOC, CD and CDV
discs:
If the number entered is not recorded on the disc, the
programmed number and "#" will blink. When the MEM-
ORY switch is pressed "O" will blink. Re-enter the correct
number.
Operation with non-TOC LD disc:
- If the programme containing a selection number is not
recorded in the disc playing, the unit will display "NO
ADDRESS" on the screen, and access the 1st selection
programmed that actually exists.

If there are no selections corresponding to those in the
programme, the unit will display "NO ADDRESS" and
will shows either of the following: (Programme
again
using correct numbers,)
When in KARAOKE mode: END
When in continuous play mode: STOP

- To clear the screen, press the CLEAR switch.
LISTENING TO THE RADIO
Memory operation
This
unit
enables 12stations each for the FM1, FM2 andAM
bands to be preset in the memory.
1. Select the band using the BAND SELECT switch.
Every time the BAND SELECT switch is pressed, the
band changes in the foilowing sequence.
FM1 - FM2 - AM - FMI, etc.
2, Press the DOWN or UP switch to tune in the station.
Press the UP switch to increase the frequency; con-
versely, press the DOWN switch to reduce it.
Press the switch and release it as soon as the frequency
starts to change. The frequency wiii change continu-
ously untii a station is tuned in, at which time it wili stop
automatically and the frequency received wili be dis-
played.
- When the switch is pressed before a station is tuned
in, the frequency tuning will stop.
- When a station with weak signals is received, press
the switch once and then again and again until it is
tuned in properiy. Every time the switch is pressed,
the frequency will change in 9 kHz or 10 kHz incre-
ments in the AM band and in 0.05 MHz increments in
the FM band.
- When the UP or DOWN switch is pressed and the
frequency dispiay reaches the top or bottom limit, the
display will automatically start again from the bottom
or top limit.
3. Press the MEMORY switch. "MEMORY"
now lights on
the display.
4, Press one of the PRESET 12KEYswitches on the remote
controller whiie the MEMORY display is iighted (approx.
5
seconds).

If the MEMORY
dispiay has been cleared before
proceeding with step 4, press the MEMORY switch
again.
The present time wiii be displayed about 5 seconds
after step 4 has been compieted.
5. Repeat steps 1 (or 2) to 4, and successively programme
the stations,
Ciearing the memoty
1. Proceed with step 1 above.
2. Press the PRESET 12KEY switch corresponding to the
preset number to be cleared. The preset number will
appear.
3. Press the CLEAR switch while the preset number is
displayed. The preset station wiii then be cleared and

Note:
After the timer has been set, do not delete the memory
of the preset station which is to be operated by the timer.
If it is deleted in error, re-programme it into the memory.
