Note the number of each color pattern with the
most unclear white lines or in which the white
lines are most evenly spaced.
This would be pattern 3 in the example shown in
the following illustration.

Determine the average number for each row and
each color in the results of the check patterns.
Example) Two blocks of adjustment patterns are
printed horizontally and the following is the
result of checking pattern C1 on the first line.
If the value you get is not an integer, round it to
the first decimal place.
Use this method to determine the average check
result number for each color in each row.

Check that the ink color code is displayed in the
control panel's screen, press the d/u buttons to
select the average value noted in Step 9, and then
press the Z button.
Basic Operations

Set the value for each color, and then press the
Z button.
When you finish setting the last color, the printer
returns to a ready state.
Adjusting the Paper Feed
Buttons that are used in the following settings
A
Confirm that the printer is ready to print. Press
the l/r buttons to select ., and then press the
Z button.
The Paper menu is displayed.
B
Use the u/d buttons to select the same number
as in Select Paper Type from paper setting
numbers 1 to 10, and then press the Z button.
C
Use the d/u buttons to select Paper Feed
Adjust, and then press the Z button.
D
Select Pattern, and then press the Z button.
E
Press the Z button to print an adjustment
pattern.
F
Measure the distance between the "+" symbols.
We recommend cutting and then measuring the
paper to get an accurate measure of the
adjustment pattern distance.
