Perform Zone Test (Test mode) (H7)
Zones can be tested via menu H1, refer to the maintenance standard AS1851 for more
information in regards to the requirements. However, it is also possible to perform a zone
test via menu (H7). Up to 100 zones can be set in test mode.
In test mode, only the alarm points are tested, i.e. no outputs (e.g. OWS or sounders) will
be activated during the test (Alarm devices can be tested via menu H8/S4 and any output
via menu H8/S8 or via EBLWin (when you are logged on).
If a real fire alarm is activated by an alarm point not in test mode, the normal fire alarm
functions will be activated, i.e. fire alarm presentation, outputs (OWS or sounders)
activated, routing equipment (Fire Brigade TX) activated, etc.

One or more zones in test mode are indicated by the LED "Test mode" (L8). The green
polling LED in the 440x detectors will be turned off in test mode.
The zones are set in test mode one a time and the test mode has to be terminated for each
zone one by one.

with "X" instead of "√"
and a beep.
All zones set in test
mode will be shown in
the "End test mode" list.
Use the soft key "|" to
toggle between Set in
test mode and End test
mode list.
After the testing, select
√
a zone in the "End test
mode" list and press "↲".
The test mode will be
terminated for all zones.
