6.8.2 Connecting the optional on-site accessories

6.8.2.1 Connecting accessories to the indoor unit

The following method is correspondingly applicable for all indoor units, All in One units and
hydrokits of all generations, but will be explained here on the basis of the example of a hydrokit of
the H Generation (→
Carry out the following steps to connect accessory cables to the external interfaces of the indoor
unit:
1. Open the indoor unit (→
box.
2. Guide the cable through the cable glands (6/7, a) into the device as shown in the illustrations
below.
3. Fix the cable by using cable clamps/strain reliefs (3, b) and bundle the accessory cables by
means of cable binders (4, d).
4. Connect the accessory cables according to the installation example below and the
subsequent brief overview of the external interfaces (→
interfaces, p.
(c).
