8. Lift the hard disk frame:

9. Loosen the two cables (IDE and power supply) from the hard disk.
10. Now remove the old hard disk and insert the new hard disk.
11. Connect the two cables. Connection pins must not be bent!
NOTICE
Check the cable connections leading to the hard disk for tightness.
12. After re-connecting the cables, put the hard disk frame into the housing
by using the claws provided at its bottom. Do not squeeze any cables while
closing the housing.
13. Fasten the hard disk frame with the two screws.
14. Put the VSB 40.1 in the mounting plate (mounting frame) and fix the it with
the four screws.
15. The new hard disk parameters are automatically identified by the system.
If the operating system does not boot automatically, interrupt the power
supply for at least 10 seconds. A restart must be carried out again.
16. Restore the user data as well as the operating system settings for the
normal mode after a regular boot of the PC.
