WCDMA RX AGC Tuning
A signal generator is needed to provide a test signal into the WCDMA RF test connector.
•
Calibration is started from the Phoenix menu:
•
Press "Start" then "Tune".
•
The calibration routine will define the signal generator settings for you.
•
When you have applied the test signal - click "OK".
•
The calibration values are then calculated and stored into PM.
Note: With the "Read" - button you can check the values stored in PM.
Definitions of the parameters saved are:
RX chain gain:
LNA mid gain error: This is the difference in LNA's gain step compared to expected
LNA low gain error: This is the difference in LNA's gain step compared to expected
AGC slope error:
LNA bias error:

value in dB's.
This is the gain slope error in the baseband analog AGC gain stages.
This is the difference in the LNA maximum gain with full and half
bias current.
