1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
(TRANSLATION OF ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS)
READ THESE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE
USING THE APPLIANCE!
• CAUTION: Very hot surface.
• The temperature of accessible surfaces may be very high when
the appliance is switched on. The base of the appliance is also very
hot after use. Allow to cool before assembling or dismantling it.
• Rinse all detachable parts in hot, soapy water or a dishwasher
before use.
• Do not fi ll the measuring cup above the maximum level of 110
ml. Above this limit, there is a risk of liquid spilling onto the
connector.
• CAUTION: The needle at the base of the measuring cup is
extremely sharp.
• Do not immerse in water or any other liquid.
• If the power cable is damaged, it should be replaced by the
manufacturer, its after-sales service, or a similarly qualifi ed
professional to prevent hazards.
• The appliance may be used by children aged 8 years or older
provided that they are supervised or have been given the
necessary instructions for using the appliance safely and fully
understand the hazards posed by using the appliance. The
appliance may be cleaned and maintained by children aged 8
years or older if supervised. Keep the appliance and its power
cable out of reach of children under the age of 8.
• The appliance may be used by people with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capacity or people lacking knowledge
or experience if they are supervised or have been given an
explanation on how to use the appliances safely and understand
the hazards posed by using the appliance.
