Configuration for using Emergency

Configure the number of times to transmit
Emergency signals for RepQty.
Configure the interval to transmit Emergency
signals for RepDly.
Configure "000 Sec" for ActiveDly.
ActiveDly does not need to be configured
since the Emergency-key Delay Time
configured in the transceiver is applied.
Therefore, "000 Sec" should be configured
for ActiveDly.
If YES is configured for WarnTone, the
Warning Tone sounds while transmitting
Emergency signals.
Configure actLOW for In.
Note: Refer to the instruction manual supplied with CIM-
1000K-20 for relevant detailed configuration.

2.11.4 Configuration using KPG-99D

ANI Board information must be written to the
transceiver by using KPG-99D after installing
CIM-1000K-20.
ANI Board can be configured only with KPG-99D
version 1.40 or later. CIM-1000K-20 can be used only
with K-type transceivers having Serial Nos. 808xxxxx
or later. CIM-1000K-20 cannot be used in other
transceivers.
Follow the procedure below to configure an ANI Board.
1. Run KPG-99D.
2. Select "Read Data from the Transceiver" from the
Program pulldown menu. Or, click the "
the toolbar.
The Read Data from the Transceiver dialog box
appears.

3. Click the "Read" button.
KPG-99D starts reading from the transceiver the
data stored in the transceiver.
4. Select the "Function Port" from the Edit pulldown
menu.
The Function Port window appears.
5. Select the "Plug-in ANI Board" or "Plug-in ANI
Board & GPS" from the External Devices (Port 1
to 2) or External Devices (Port 3 to 8) dropdown
list.
Select "Plug-in ANI Board" when CIM-1000K-20
and GPS are not used simultaneously.
