Direct Check Paid

If you receive payment for the check before you perform a Check Print, you can use the
Direct Check Paid procedure as a shortcut. This procedure allows you to bypass entering
your server and check number, but it can only be used immediately after you service the
check you want to pay.
1. To pay the check you just serviced, press CHECK PAID. The balance of the check
remains on your screen.
2. Add new items, enter a charge tip or tender amount.
3. To finalize the check, press the appropriate payment key or swipe the credit card
through the Magnetic Card Reader.

Check Paid by Person

If you are using person or seat numbers for your transactions, you have some additional
options at Check Paid. You can, for example, close the balance of a single person on the
check (and leave the remaining balances open). Or you can close the balances of two or
more persons at a time. These procedures are described below.
