Insignia Two-Slice Toaster Using your toaster Note Using your toaster the first time • Remove all protective wrappings prior to toasting. • There may be manufacturing residue or oil in the toaster or heating element which can emit an odor for the first use. This is normal and will not occur after you use it several times.
Insignia Two-Slice Toaster 4 Lower the control handle until it latches into place. The Cancel indicator lights and the toaster begins toasting. 5 After the bread has been toasted, the control handle automatically pops up. Note During toasting, you can press the CANCEL button to cancel the operation at any time, but never lift the control handle to cancel toasting.
Insignia Two-Slice Toaster 3 Pull out the crumb tray at the bottom of the toaster and empty it. If the toaster is used frequently, clean the crumb tray at least once a week. Make sure the crumb tray is completely closed before using the toaster again.

If service of Products or parts are required after the Warranty Period expires, you must pay all labor and parts charges. This warranty lasts as long as you own your Insignia Product during the Warranty Period.
