Turning off for longer periods
of time
If the appliance is not needed for a
longer period of time:
^ turn the appliance off,
^ unplug the power cord or trip the
circuit breaker,
^ clean the appliance,
^ leave the door slightly ajar to air out
the appliance.
If, during a long absence, the
appliance is turned off but not
cleaned out and the door is left shut,
there is a danger of bacteria and
odors building up inside the
appliance.
