A. Installation
1. Remove the top cover so it does not impede the insertion of the phone
3. Replace the top cover (see attached diagram)
B. Operating Instructions
1. Please use the included Micro USB cable to charge the EnerPlex Surfr. First
place your phone securely in the EnerPlex Surfr and then connect the battery pack
to a power source via the USB cable. The power source will charge the phone
and the EnerPlex Surfr at the same time.
2. To charge your iPhone with the EnerPlex Surfr, locate the switch at the bottom of
the case and slide it toward the LEDs. The four LEDs nearest the switch indicate the
Surfr's charge level; each LED represents 25% charge. If no blue lights illuminate,
then the Surfr requires charging.
3. When there is no electrical source available, place the EnerPlex Surfr under the
sun or very strong light with the solar panel facing upward. The Red LED light will il-
luminate automatically, indicating the integrated solar panel is charging the EnerPlex
Surfr battery. For best solar charging, angle your EnerPlex Surfr towards the sun.
C. Important Safety Instructions
1. Be cautious of excessive drops, bumps, abrasions, or other impacts to the
EnerPlex Surfr solar battery case.
2. Do not expose the EnerPlex Surfr to wet or damp conditions.
3. Do not use near or on heat emitting appliances.
4. Do not attempt to open, disassemble, or replace any spare parts in the EnerPlex Surfr.
5. The EnerPlex Surfr may become somewhat warm during charging, this
is normal.
6. Do not throw away the EnerPlex Surfr unit, please bring used units to your local
recycling center.
7. The EnerPlex Surfr is not intended for use by young children without supervision.
