    Setting up Attach the Tower speaker to the separate base using the screws supplied. 2. Insert the dock support stand supplied into the slot on the top of the Tower speaker, just behind the dock connector. 3. Insert 2 x AAA batteries into the remote control, noting the ‘+’ and ‘-’ markings and position the batteries the correct way around.

    Your Tower Speaker with Dock Remote control effective range: Notes: The remote signal may not be received if there is an obstacle between the remote and the Tower speaker. Direct sunlight or other bright light sources shining on the remote sensor may affect the performance of the remote control.

    iPod/iPhone/iPad mode iPod/iPhone/iPad mode Check that your Tower speaker is in iPod mode. If you are not already in iPod mode, briefly press and release the ‘Source’ button on the top of your Tower speaker or on the remote control, until you are in iPod mode (check the display). Note: Your Tower speaker has an Apple lightning connector.

    Menu: Press the menu button to display your iPod/iPhone menu. Check your product display. Press the menu button repeatedly to enter or exit the display menus. (Up/Down) Use the up and down buttons to move up and down or highlight the displayed options.

    Using the FM radio Wire FM aerial Please make sure that the wire FM aerial on the back of the Tower speaker is fully extended before you attempt to tune to an FM station. This will ensure that the maximum signal strength is available when the Tower speaker begins to scan. Extending the aerial also ensures the best possible sound quality.
