Make sure you receive all items of your
shipment:
• One HDD-500G-SATA
• Four standoffs
• One tape
• One SATA mounting plate
• Four M3 x 5 mm screws
• Eight M3 x 3 mm screws
• Two Brackets
• One printed copy of Quick Start Guide (this
document)
• One printed copy of Safety Notes Summary
• Any other optional items that you ordered
When installing or servicing the
module or accessories, strictly
observe the safety precautions in the
Safety Notes Summary. Otherwise,
personal injury or property damage
may occur.

Observe ESD-safe
measures
• Use either a properly grounded ESD wrist
strap or make sure that you are working
in an ESD-safe environment.
• Connect to the ESD connector at the
front or the rear of the system.

Attach the standoffs
1. Attach the standoffs to the appro-
priate slots in the HDD.

Attach the tape
1. Attach the tape to the HDD.

Assemble the SATA
mounting plate
1. Assemble the SATA mounting plate.
