Before you Start:
• Make sure that the Spyder2PRO hardware is unplugged during installation
• Disable Adobe ® Gamma or any other 3rd party monitor calibration software in the "Start up" folder
• Set the display resolution to a minimum of 1027 X 768
• Set the display color depth to a minimum of 16 million colors (24-bit Color)
• On Windows ® ; verify that you have set the "Hardware Acceleration" to Full. This can be found in the Display Properties control panel under Setting
> Advanced > Performance or Troubleshoot tab.
• Verify that any anti-virus software is disabled prior to installation, and that screen savers and energy savers are deactivated before calibration.

Before Running Spyder2PRO Software:
• You should know how to change the settings using the on-screen controls. You need to know how to adjust the color temperature, contrast and
brightness settings (if available), and how to reset the monitor to its factory defaults. If you are not familiar with how your monitor works, please
read the manual for the monitor before you start to calibrate with the Spyder2PRO software.
• To accurately calibrate your monitor there should be no light source shining directly on the screen. Turn off all desk lamps and close blinds to
minimize ambient light. If there is overhead lighting, try to shield the screen using a hood. Low ambient (room) lighting is needed for color correct
work. You should calibrate in the same room lighting conditions as when you normally view the monitor.
• If you have problems communicating with the Spyder2PRO, plug it directly into a USB port on the computer, not through a hub or keyboard
and try again. Some combination USB/Fire Wire cards have been known not work with the ColorVision Spyder2PRO and software.
• If you have problems communicating with the Spyder2PRO, unplug any un-needed USB devices such as a graphics tablet, web cam, digital
camera, external drives, etc. and try again.
• Adaptec ® and Roxio ™ CD Burning software should NOT be running when calibrating under Windows. Check if CD burning software is on your
list of StartUp Items to be sure it is not running in the background. To do this, press crtl-alt-delete to open Task Manager and check if any of
the following programs/processes are listed as running: easycd, directcd, createcd, adaptec, or roxio. If one or more is listed, highlight the
program and click on the End Task button.
• When running the Spyder2PRO software calibration process, do not move the position of the Spyder2PRO software window on screen. When
you are changing the settings of your monitor, wait until after the monitors on-screen control window closes before taking readings with the
Spyder2PRO.
• Once the calibration process has begun and the Spyder2PRO is placed where indicated on the monitor screen to take readings, do not remove
the Spyder2PRO from the screen until prompted to do so.

Avant d'exécuter le logiciel Spyder2PRO :
• Vous devez vous familiariser avec la modification des paramètres à l'aide des contrôles à l'écran. Vous devez savoir comment régler les paramètres
de température de couleur, de contraste et de luminosité (le cas échéant) et comment rétablir les valeurs par défaut (valeurs d'usine) du moniteur.

grâce au logiciel Spyder2PRO.
• Pour étalonner précisément votre moniteur, veillez à ce qu'aucune source lumineuse n'éclaire directement l'écran. Éteignez toutes les lampes
de bureau et fermez les volets pour réduire la lumière ambiante. En cas d'éclairage vertical, placez un dispositif permettant d'occulter la lumière
sur l'écran. Un faible éclairage ambiant (de la pièce) est nécessaire pour obtenir des couleurs correctes. Vous devez procéder à l'étalonnage
dans les mêmes conditions d'éclairage de la pièce que celles d'utilisation normale du moniteur.
• Si vous rencontrez des problèmes de communication avec la sonde Spyder2PRO, connectez-la directement au port USB de l'ordinateur, sans
utiliser de clavier ou de hub et recommencez l'opération. Certaines combinaisons de cartes USB/Fire Wire sont connues pour être incompatibles
avec la sonde ColorVision Spyder2PRO et le logiciel.
• Si vous rencontrez des problèmes de communication avec le système Spyder2PRO, débranchez tout périphérique USB inutile comme la tablette
graphique, une Webcam, une caméra numérique, des lecteurs externes, etc., et recommencez.
• Les logiciels de gravure Adaptec et Roxio ne doivent PAS être en cours d'exécution pendant la procédure d'étalonnage sous Windows. Vérifiez

que ces logiciels de gravure ne figurent pas dans la liste du dossier de démarrage pour vous assurer qu'ils ne s'exécutent pas en arrière-plan.
Pour ce faire, appuyez sur Ctrl-Alt-Suppr pour ouvrir le Gestionnaire des tâches. Assurez-vous qu'aucun des programmes ou processus suivants
n'est en cours d'exécution : Easycd, Directcd, Createcd, Adaptec ou Roxio. Si l'un de ces programmes figure dans la liste, mettez-le en surbrillance
et cliquez sur le bouton Fin de tâche.
• Lorsque vous exécutez le processus d'étalonnage Spyder2PRO, ne déplacez pas la fenêtre du logiciel Spyder2PRO à l'écran. Lorsque vous changez
les paramètres du moniteur, attendez la fermeture de la fenêtre des contrôles écran du moniteur pour effectuer des relevés au moyen de
Spyder2PRO.
• Une fois le processus d'étalonnage commencé et le programme Spyder2PRO positionné selon les indications affichées à l'écran pour effectuer
les relevés, ne retirez pas Spyder2PRO de l'écran tant que vous n'y êtes pas invité.

• Vor der Installation müssen Antivirus-Software sowie Bildschirmschoner und Energiesparfunktionen deaktiviert sein.

Vor dem Ausführen der Spyder2PRO-Software:

• Sollten Probleme bei der Verbindung mit Spyder2PRO auftreten, schließen Sie das Gerät direkt an einer USB-Schnittstelle des Computers und
nicht über einen Hub bzw. eine Tastatur an und wiederholen Sie den Vorgang. Bestimmte USB/Fire Wire-Kombokarten funktionieren nicht mit
ColorVision Spyder2PRO und der Software.
• Sollten Probleme bei der Verbindung mit Spyder2PRO auftreten, entfernen Sie nicht benötigte USB-Geräte (z. B. Grafiktablett, Webkamera,
Digitalkamera, externe Festplatten usw.) und wiederholen Sie den Vorgang.
• CD-Brennsoftware von Adaptec® und Roxio™ sollte während der Kalibrierung unter Windows nicht aktiv sein. Prüfen Sie, ob CD-Brennsoftware

Prima di eseguire Spyder2PRO:
• È necessario sapere come modificare le impostazioni correnti tramite i controlli visualizzati sullo schermo. È necessario sapere come modificare
le impostazioni di temperatura del colore, contrasto e luminosità (se disponibile) nonché come ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica. In caso
contrario, è consigliabile leggere il manuale fornito con il monitor prima di procedere con la calibrazione utilizzando il software Spyder2PRO.
• Al fine di consentire la corretta calibrazione del monitor è importante che non ci siano fonti di illuminazione dirette sullo schermo. Spegnere
tutte le lampade da tavolo e chiudere le persiane per ridurre al minimo l'impatto della luce ambiente. Se la luce proviene dall'alto, utilizzare un
paraluce. Per una visualizzazione ottimale del colore è necessaria una luce ambiente bassa. È consigliabile eseguire la calibrazione con l'illuminazione
normalmente utilizzata per la visualizzazione del monitor.
• In caso di problemi di comunicazione con Spyder2PRO, accertarsi che il dispositivo sia collegato direttamente a una porta USB del computer
anziché a un hub o a una tastiera e riprovare. Alcune schede FireWire abbinate a determinati collegamenti USB non funzionano correttamente
con ColorVision Spyder2PRO e il relativo software.
• In caso di problemi di comunicazione con Spyder2PRO, scollegare eventuali dispositivi USB non necessari quali tavolette grafiche, fotocamere
Web, fotocamere digitali, unità esterne e così via, quindi riprovare.
• Quando si esegue la calibrazione in sistemi Windows, verificare che eventuali software di masterizzazione Adaptec® e Roxio ™ NON siano in
esecuzione. Verificare che il software di masterizzazione in uso non venga eseguito automaticamente all'avvio del sistema e sia quindi in esecuzione
in background. A tale scopo, premere CTRL + ALT + CANC per aprire Task Manager e verificare se una delle voci indicate di seguito è contenuta
nell'elenco dei processi o delle applicazioni in esecuzione: easycd, directcd, createcd, adaptec o roxio. Se una o più voci sono contenute nell'elenco,
selezionare la voce e fare clic sul pulsante Termina operazione.
• Quando si esegue la calibrazione con Spyder2PRO, non spostare la finestra del software visualizzata sullo schermo. Durante la modifica delle
impostazioni del monitor, attendere la chiusura della finestra dei controlli dello schermo prima di utilizzare i dati rilevati da Spyder2PRO.
• Dopo l'avvio del processo di calibrazione e il posizionamento di Spyder2PRO sullo schermo, non rimuovere Spyder2PRO dallo schermo fino a
