    The Monitor The information that is displayed in the monitor during shooting and playback changes depending on the camera’s settings and state of use. By default, information is displayed when the camera is turned on and when you operate the camera, and turns off after a few seconds (when Photo info is set to Auto info in Monitor settings (A108)).

    Preparing for Shooting Insert the Battery and Memory Card Battery latch Memory card slot With the battery’s positive and negative terminals oriented correctly, move the orange battery latch (3), and fully insert the battery (4). Slide the memory card in until it clicks into place (5). Be careful not to insert the battery or memory card upside-down or backward, as this could cause a malfunction.

When you are using digital zoom, the camera focuses in the center of the frame and the focus area is not displayed.
