If you have any doubts about the suitability of your chimney for the appliance please consult your local HS Gas stockist/dealer. The chimney must be given a precautionary sweep before connection to the appliance.
  • Page 3 The ‘coals/logs’ may change colour after use, which is quite normal. • Replacement ceramic matrices and coals/logs must be sourced from your approved HS Gas stockist. Operating the Appliance It is strongly recommended that these instructions are read and thoroughly understood in advance of operating this appliance.
  • Page 4: Lighting The Appliance

    IMPORTANT NOTE This appliance is fitted with an ‘oxygen depletion system’ (ODS) which constantly measures the level of oxygen in the room. If the concentration of oxygen drops below a safe level the appliance will automatically shut-off. The appliance is also equipped with a sensor to monitor the function of the flue (TTB Switch).
  • Page 5 Adjusting between High and Low Output Settings (Main burner). Make sure that the ON/OFF control knob (Knob A) is set to the ‘ON’ position and that the pilot flame has been established. The left hand control knob (Knob B in Diagram 2), controls the stove output.
