SETTING THE COMBINATION
1. Locate the combination dials and viewing window on the lock.
2. Rotate the dials to the current combination. If the product is new,
lock is preset to initially open at 0-0-0-0. The combination will
appear in the window.
3. Locate the set button.
4. Using a tool (pen, screwdriver or similar object),

FIRMLY PUSH THE SET BUTTON IN AND HOLD IT IN PLACE.
5. Move the dials to the desired combination.
IMPORTANT: If while moving the dials, the set button becomes
disengaged, stop and look at the dials. Note the combination.
To continue setting a new combination, repeat steps 4-6.
6. Release the set button. Record and save your new
combination at masterlockvault.com.

TESTING THE COMBINATION
Before attaching the lock to your device:
1. Scramble the combination dials to conceal your combination.
2. Return to the combination you set.
3. Check that the lock button slides to the right.

1. Take the looped end of the cable and wrap it around a stationary object.
2. Feed the lock through the looped end of the cable.
3. Rotate the dials to the current combination. The combination will appear in the window.
4. Slide and hold the lock button to the right to align the locking teeth.
5. Insert the lock into your device's lock slot. Listen for a slight click.
6. Release the lock button and scramble the combination dials to lock and conceal your combination.

Note: Due to variation in the size of lock slots on various devices, you may find that there is a gap between the lock
and the device. The supplied spacers are included to provide a custom fit and added security.

1. Insert the lock into your device's lock slot (see step 4 in "Securing the
Lock to Electronic Device" section above). Release lock button.
2. Pull the lock away from the electronic device and check if there is a gap.
3. If so, remove lock from electronic device and add spacer.
To add a spacer, remove the spacer backing and adhere onto the lock.
4. Repeat steps 1 & 2. If there is still a gap present, add additional spacer(s)
on top of the first.

5. Insert and push the lock firmly into your device's lock slot to
compress the spacers and have a tight fit. Listen for a slight click.
