■ Setting the Area
You can set the area where you use the IS14SH.

On the home screen,
[Wireless & networks [Mobile networks
[Roaming settings [Area settings.

Set for using within Japan.
Roaming
Set for using overseas (Automatic setting in
accordance with the PRL).
• The country selection screen may be displayed if Area settings is set to
Roaming. Select the travel country.
■ Setting the data roaming
You can use the packet communication during roaming.

On the home screen,
[Wireless & networks [Mobile networks
[Data roaming.
Tap OK to enable the data roaming.
• To enable the data roaming, set Area settings to Roaming in advance.
• If you have not subscribed to IS NET, au.NET charges (525 yen including
tax for the used month) and communication charges apply.

Making a Call at Your Travel Destination

■ Making a Call to Another Country (Including Japan)
from Your Travel Destination
You can make a call to Japan or another country from your travel
destination.
Example: To call "212-123-XXXX" in USA from South Korea

On the home screen,

Enter "002" as the international access code for
South Korea.
Long-touch the "0" to enter "+" and the international access code of
your travel destination is automatically added when calling.

Enter "1" as the country code for USA.

Enter "212" as the area code.
If the area code starts with "0", dial it without including the "0" (There
are some exceptions such as fixed-line phones in some countries or
regions including Italy and Moscow).

Enter "123XXXX" as the other party's phone number
[Call.
• If the person you are dialing is using Global Passport, enter the country
code "81" (Japan) regardless of his/her travel destination.
