Charge status indicator
The red LED is the indicator for battery charge status.
Charge status is monitored continuously.
If it drops below a defined threshold, the red LED starts flashing
and a brief, low-pitched acoustic warning sounds.

The red LED flashes once every 2 minutes
and a low-pitched acoustic warning sounds
- Operating reserves down to 10 minutes
The red LED flashes twice every 30 seconds
and a low-pitched acoustic warning sounds
- Operating reserves down to 5 minutes
The red LED flashes three times every 10 seconds
and a low-pitched acoustic warning sounds
The red LED remains on all the time while the batteries are
charging.
The red LED goes out when charging is terminated.
