Weather zone and Time/date zone are OSD (On Screen Display) that can be overlapped on any video and image zone or wallpaper. Template is the screen layout for defining each zone’s size and position. icat-3 provides standard system template and custom template.

The Icons on top row are wallpaper, video zone, image1/2/3 zone, RSS/Text, Date/Time and Weather zone. Wallpaper is a jpeg file that will occupy entire screen. So you can leave it empty for black screen or choose one jpeg only for your wallpaper picture.
