Cause and remedial action
p p Has the unit been connected properly to the HD Visual
Communication Unit?
p p Has the camera been selected correctly from the HD Visual
Communication Unit?
p p Are all the service switches at the OFF position?
p p Is the focus set to manual?
 Auto focusing is initiated as soon as the focus is set to auto.
p p In some situations, it may be hard to focus at the auto setting.
 Select the manual setting, and focus manually.
p p Was the focus adjusted at the Tele end?
 First adjust the focus at the Tele end where the focusing accuracy
is higher, and then proceed with the zooming.
p p Under some operating conditions, it may be hard to bring
subjects into focus.
 Use the focus at the auto setting.
p p Activate the automatic white balance setting (auto tracking
white adjustment) function.
p p In some situations, the proper colors may not be reproduced
using the automatic white balance setting function.
 Adjust the white balance manually.
